Monhegan Sunset |
Monhegan
Island, Maine
Join me for
a four day, three night watercolor workshop and experience the beauty
and lushness of spring on Monhegan Island, a painter's paradise.
You'll find your pace slowing down to island time. There are no
paved roads, seventeen miles of hiking trails, a village that looks
almost like it did in the late 1800s, and a painting everywhere
you look.
Lodging is at the Trailing Yew where you'll enjoy country breakfasts and dinners
and evenings by kerosene lantern. We'll spend two full days
painting
so you'll also have time for exploring on your own. You might want
to hike up to the lighthouse for a panoramic, magnificent sunset
or catch the last rays of the sun out on Lobster Cove, where Jamie
Wyeth has a home. No matter what you choose to do, you'll find
your
stay here a magical experience. See Pictures
Vacation package includes
four days and three nights private accommodations with shared bath,
three breakfasts, three dinners, two full days of watercolor painting
instruction, taxes and gratuities.
